2. How can I easily copy my license key and then paste it into SuperFast PC?
If you want to use the copy and paste command, follow these steps:
-Highlight the license key by placing your cursor at the beginning of the license key, then press and hold the left mouse button while dragging the highlighted bar at the end of the license key. Then let go of the left mouse button.
- You can copy the highlighted text by right clicking your mouse and then choose : Copy”. Alternatively, you can press Ctrl + C on the keyboard.
- And then go to SuperFast PC and click the icon on the upper right corner.
- On the field for license key, right-click again then choose “Paste”. Alternatively, you can press Ctrl + V on the keyboard.

3. Where can I enter my registration/license key to register my software?
We provide two ways for you to enter your registration/license key for an unregistered product. First, after your scan with an unregistered product, a box will pop-up indicating the detected invalid entries. At the bottom of the box there will be a link to allow you to enter your registration/license key. Second, you can open the software and go into the “Settings” tab and click on “License Key” which will then open a box in which you may enter your registration/license key. If neither of these methods are available, this typically means that the product is already registered and should be able to run “Optimize Now.” If that is not the case, please contact us by going to our Contact Us page on our website or click on the link at the top and bottom of this site.

7. How can I change the settings when SuperFast PC scans my computer?
User can change the scan settings either manually or automatically. The scan can also be scheduled as per the user’s preference.
MANUAL SETTINGS:

  • Click on the Settings tab.
  • In the first tab “Scan Areas”.
  • Select the areas you would like to be scanned for issues.
  • Click on apply button.
  • Click on Start Scan.
  • Your selected scan areas will start scanning.

AUTOMATIC SETTINGS:

  • Click on the “Settings” tab.
  • Click on the third tab “General”.
  • Under the Startup section: there is a checkbox named “Launch at Windows startup and start a registry scan”.
  • If you uncheck the above mentioned checkbox it will not scan your system on its own. Checking the option will start scanning the system as soon as its turned on.

Scheduling the Scan:
The user can schedule the scan as per the following preferences:

    • Click on the “settings” tab.
    • In the second tab “Schedule”.

There are four options available i.e.

  • Run Once
  • Every Day
  • Every Week
  • Do not schedule

8. How do I configure Windows’ firewall to allow the network/internet connection to SuperFast PC?
Please follow the steps below:
For Windows XP:

  • Click on the Start Menu, click on Run, then type “firewall.cpl” without the quotes, then click on OK.
  • Look at the left pane. Click on the option Allow a program through Windows Firewall. If you get a prompt for a password, enter it.
  • Go to the Exceptions tab, and then click on Add Program.
  • Click on Browse then look for the folder location of SuperFast PC. By default, it is located in C:\Program files\SuperFast PC\
  • Navigate inside the folder of SuperFast PC then choose the executable file which is the file ending with the extension .exe.
  • Note: The file extension may not appear. In that case, you can right-click the file then select Properties. Under file type, it should be labeled as Application.

For Windows Vista:

  • Click on the Start Menu, click on Control Panel, choose Security, and then click on Windows Firewall. In case Control Panel is in Classic View, go to Security Center instead then choose Windows Firewall.
  • Look at the left pane. Click on the option Allow a program through Windows Firewall. If you get a prompt for a password, enter it.
  • Go to the Exceptions tab, and then click on Add Program.
  • Click on Browse then look for the folder location of SuperFast PC. By default, it is located in C:\Program files\SuperFast PC\

  • Go to the Windows Firewall section. Click on the option Allow a program through Windows Firewall.
  • Look for the Change Settings button with the yellow and blue shield. Click on it.
  • Click the button that says Allow another program.
  • Click on Browse then look for the folder location of SuperFast PC. By default, it is located in C:\Program files\SuperFast PC\
  • Navigate inside the folder of SuperFast PC then choose the executable file which is the file ending with the extension .exe (Note: The file extension may not appear. In that case, you can right-click the file then select Properties. Under file type, it should be labeled as Application).
  • Click Add to allow it through the firewall.

For Windows 8:

9. How do I stop emails from SuperFast PC?
Within each email you receive there is an unsubscribe link. You just click on it and this will initiate the unsubscribe process. Alternatively, you may Contact Us and provide us the email address you want unsubscribed. Please be patient as this may take approximately 7 days to go into effect and for you to stop receiving such emails.

10. How do you uninstall SuperFast PC?

Uninstall Steps:

  1. From the start menu, select control panel.
  2. Under Programs select Uninstall a program.
  3. In the search bar type in “SuperFast PC”.
  4. Select “SuperFast PC” and then click “Uninstall/Change”.
  5. The user account control dialog will appear asking if “you want to allow the following program to make changes to this computer?” click “Yes” to start the uninstall
  6. Click “Next” on the first dialog that appears.

  7. When the second dialog appears click “Uninstall” to remove SuperFast PC from the Program Files Folder.
  8. The diolog below will appear when the software has been removed from the program files folder. Click “OK”.
  9. To complete the uninstall, select “Reboot Now” in the dialog below. Then click “Finish”.
